Employee Spotlight: Patrick Lleva
At Converge, it is our mission to put quality first in everything we do. As a research, development, and engineering team lead based in Singapore, Patrick Lleva plays a crucial role in our quality department verifying and validating product authenticity, defining discrepancies, recommending action, and driving improvement projects. He joined the company in July 2022, and, with his ongoing dedication and expertise, he has been an invaluable member of our team. 
When asked what motivates Patrick in his role, he shared, “It’s the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. I’m driven by the fact that my contributions can positively affect my team and the company. The continuous learning and the chance to work with talented colleagues keeps me inspired and engaged every day.” Patrick’s favorite project so far has been staying ahead of counterfeiters. With the advancements in technology, counterfeiters have found new ways to access and counterfeit devices, making the role of quality even more critical. Ensuring product authenticity has been an exciting and rewarding experience for him.
Converge has played a vital role in Patrick’s career development. The opportunities for growth, learning, mentorship, and exposure to innovative technologies, techniques, and challenging projects have been instrumental in honing his skills and broadening his horizons. He is grateful for the support and resources that have enabled him to achieve his professional goals. Within the company, Patrick finds inspiration in his managers, Ana Liza Brion, and Grace Ramos. Their exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to the company’s mission and values have inspired him and many others to strive for excellence in their work.
Patrick’s proudest moment at Converge was when he and his team set up the heated chemical testing and solderability test. His manager, Ana Liza, shares, “This initiative was transformative in enabling a faster turn-around time and a lower testing cost. Patrick continuously strives for improvement as evidenced by his work to enhance our testing capabilities in Singapore.”

When asked about his experience with our company culture, Patrick responded, “I’ve felt a powerful sense of teamwork and collaboration from day one, which has empowered me to grow both professionally and personally. The emphasis on open communication and a supportive environment has made every day enjoyable and fulfilling.” He continues, “The most unique part about working at Converge is the diversity. It creates a sense of belonging and unity, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.”
To promote success in the future, Patrick believes that adaptability is key. Whether it’s technological advancements, market shifts, or unforeseen disruptions, the ability to quickly respond and adapt will help individuals and businesses thrive. With that, Patrick hopes to see the industry build resilience to external shocks and disruptions. The goal is to ensure continuity and stability while positively impacting society and contributing to economic growth and improved quality of life. It should come as no surprise that one of Patrick’s greatest inspirations is Nikola Tesla. If he had the opportunity to meet him, Patrick says he would thank Nikola for his many contributions to the world and their impact on our industry.
